The OpenLV project had a presence at the 2018 Low Carbon Networks Innovation (LCNI) Conference in Telford which took place on 16 & 17 October.

Western Power Distribution displayed an LV Cap device on its stand, the platform that is utilised by OpenLV, and this attracted significant interest at the event.

There was also a lot of interest in the involvement of community groups, universities and companies in the OpenLV project – organisations that are keen to use data from local substations – and in the breadth of the ideas that they were bringing to the project.

The OpenLV stand featured case studies of its projects – in both postcard and leaflet form. The full case studies can be viewed here.

The OpenLV team was pleased to meet so many of the organisations that are using data as part of the project at LCNI.
