The Renewable Futures: The Net-Zero Summit, taking place on 27 November 2019 in Bath, brings together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss how we turn net-zero policy commitments into urgent action.

The OpenLV Hub

This year, Renewable Futures and EA Technology will be hosting an OpenLV Hub, sharing the lessons of the groundbreaking project which has given communities access to their local electricity data, and exploring the next steps in opening up the smart grid to communities.

You’ll be able to ask any questions you have about the project such as:

• What an open data platform is

• What communities can do with the data

• How communities can use this data to better work with their DNO

• Where the OpenLV platform goes from here

We’ll be holding some small workshops just after lunch at 14.15 at the OpenLV Hub.

This will include a quick introduction to OpenLV, followed by roundtables with communities, project partners and Western Power Distribution discussing their experience of the project, with opportunities for you to ask industry experts and other communities questions.

Access to this part of the conference is included in the price of a standard communities Renewable Futures delegate ticket (£35), simply indicate in the booking form if you would be interested in joining the roundtable discussions, book your place here.

You can find out more about the OpenLV project ahead of the day here.
